What changes when the same tenant is assessed under a different edition of the resource rules?
A dated comparison needs both the household facts and the wording applied to each month. This example places one fictional tenant on either side of the resource reform and retains a separate answer for each date.
The comparison below concerns resources used in the calculation. It does not show an APL payment, isolate the effect of every reform provision or establish an amount for another tenant. The French excerpts identify the earlier and later reference periods.

Two months, two income references
December uses the supplied N−2 household income. January uses twelve recorded monthly salary and unemployment amounts; this fictional person receives neither RSA nor a pension.

What the recorded comparison establishes
The editions tool identifies a semantic change at the reform boundary. Each displayed amount has its own dated answer and proof. This is an income-reference comparison; it does not display a housing-benefit payment.
